Hi guys! I'm going to be doing a project called Disney A-Z and it's going to be about every restaurant, resort, attraction, character and so in Walt Disney World to help new guests or yearly Mouseketeers with knowledge and tips and tricks to help make your stay more enjoyable and to find the magic in every single aspect of WDW. This is for you guys as well as myself and if there is anything I'm missing or tips you guys can give me, please comment or message me! Everything helps and I can't wait to see what you guys think of this project! Let me know and here we gooo!!
I'm going to start with 50's Prime Time Café. As you walk through the doors of 50's Prime Time Café, you step into another era. You're back in the 50's and your waitress is none other than your Aunt Marge or Uncle Billy (just examples). You get to watch TV as you eat but be careful not to put your elbows on the table or you might not get desert!
This restaurant is located inside Disney's Hollywood Studios therefore theme park admission is required! As you walk down Hollywood Boulevard towards Grauman's Chinese Theatre, you will come to a junction and turn left after towards Echo Lake after you pass Keystone Clothiers. Walk past Dinosaur Gertie (trust me, you can't miss him!) and right next to Hollywood & Vine Restaurant is 50's Prime Time Café.
The price range is roughly 15- 30$ a person and most Disney Dining Plans are accepted! Not the Snack Plan though, sorry guys! But reservations are highly recommended and you can book up to 180 days in advance. There are cancellations though for last minute guests! Show up to the check-in desk around 4 if you want to eat for dinner cause that's when most walk-ins are able to get a table!
I have had very good experiences with this restaurant and go back every single year! It never disappoints and for those that are 21 and older can go into the Tune-In Lounge located in the lobby if you are looking for a pre-dinner cocktail!

Almost 60 years ago, on July 17, 1955, Walt Disney said the magical words "For all those that come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."
Walt Disney's dream became a reality when he built this park where "parents and children could have fun - together." An infinite amount of memories have been created in this happy place for me alone and countless people across the globe.
I go to Eureka College, the Alma Mater of former President Ronald Reagan. Reagan was among the few men and women that helped open this park to the world. I learned a lot of Reagan's influence throughout the park when I had my internship down there last year. It was empowering to see someone who went to my college help one of my idols fulfill his dream.
"I hope we never loose sight of one thing...that it was all started by a mouse." - Walt Disney
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC DAVIS!!
Today we celebrate the Disney Legend Marc Davis's birthday! He had created several memorable characters we know and love today! His most memorable work in my opinion is his work on Walt Disney Pictures Sleeping Beauty. Marc is a treasured person and was a dear friend of Walt's. His legacy lives on and we cherish everything he did for the Walt Disney Company! Happy Birthday Marc!!!!

Once Upon A Time...
Once upon a time, I had the dream to become a Walt Disney World Cast Member. My cousin had done the Disney College Program when I was six years old. She was a Bellhop at the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in what was then Disney's MGM Studios. She was my inspiration to apply for the program. I had grown up watching Disney movies like every other 90's child but Disney meant something different for me, I truly believed what I was watching. It was more than what people describe as magical, it was a real experience for me. I was your average child pretending I was Ariel coming out of the water on every pool edge I could find!
Getting older I had started drawing, I would always draw the Disney characters! I would give them to my friends and family; I wanted to make other people happy in the way that these characters make me happy! I have an art minor and my senior project was an oil painting of the Cinderella Castle which granted my art scholarship to my school!
Whenever I would be down or upset, Disney was my comfort. I would always turn on 101 Dalmatians, so you better believe I begged to have the Diamond Edition when it was released from the Disney Vault in February! 101 Dalmatians is my favorite Disney movie and I have a special place in my heart for the Disney Dogs in particular, Pongo just being an example! Who didn't wish they had Tramp running around when they were younger? But Disney had given me a pure happiness that I wished to express to others as I got older, that hopefully they would be able to feel what I feel.
As I became a Disney Cast Member, I had worked at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I worked in the Roaring Fork Quick-Service Restaurant. I worked a seven month program and it was the best experience of my life. Everyday I regret the opportunity to stay longer, I just knew I needed to finish school. In Florida, I got thousands of opportunities to create Magic for the Guests. I could call Mickey for a little boy for his birthday and let him talk to the Mouse or let a lucky couple celebrating their anniversary a card signed from Mickey and Minnie, wishing them many happy years together. One day I will be back where it all started and hopefully this blog lets you guys experience what I experienced. I have many tips for those that want to vacation down there as well! This is just the beginning and it's going to be a great journey!
